Prebuilding Hardware

If we are planning on doing a hardware-like hack (but also highly depends on software), what's the rules concerning prebuilding hardware? Do I need to do all my soldering there, or can I solder everything up as long as I don't write any code for it?

    Hey Swiss,

    Absolutely all hardware must be built during the competition. If its something like a microprocessor kit you need to pre-build that is fine, but any custom designed hardware for your hack needs to be constructed at the competition.

    Designing beforehand is definitely allowed and encouraged however.
